PDF Processing

All PDF processing happens entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript (pdf-lib). Your files — PDFs, images, and any other uploaded content — are never sent to any server. We do not store, collect, or have access to any files you use with PDFTools. Your documents remain on your device at all times.

Local Storage

PDFTools uses your browser's localStorage to track the daily operation counter (free tier limit of 3 operations per day). This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Payments

Premium subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed securely through Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant. We never store your credit card details. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe. For more information, see Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, session duration, and general geographic region. This data helps us understand how PDFTools is used and improve the product. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
